BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations Starter Service

This Service configures one out-of-the-box integration using BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations to retrieve event, metric, and topology data from BMC and third-party products so that you are able to improve your observability into your infrastructure and business services.

What you get:

BMC will perform the following in one environment:

  • Conduct a workshop to provide Customer with an overview of the out of the box integration selected and review all required configuration information
  • Configure one out-of-the-box integration in BMC Helix Intelligent Integration
  • Create up to five normalization policies for new events in BMC Helix Operations Management
  • Create one panel in BMC Helix Dashboards aligned to the integration
  • Prepare Solution Design Document
  • Prepare Construction Document
  • Assist Customer with functional testing

Customer will be responsible for:

  • Conducting functional testing
  • Identifying the out-of-the-box integration to be configured in BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations
  • Providing subject matter expert with access to the source monitoring tool
  • Providing BMC consultants with valid access to all BMC Helix services that are required to implement the integration
  • Provide all service accounts required to configure the integration
  • Performing any configuration required on the Integration Source

Deliverables: Using BMC’s standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:

  • Solution Design Document
  • Construction Document

Completion Criteria: BMC will have completed these Consulting Services when the in-scope Consulting Services have been completed and the Deliverables have been delivered to the Customer Project Manager.

Pre-requisites:

Customer must:

  • Customer must have valid subscriptions for all BMC Helix services required for the integration
  • Customer should provide the networking configuration required
  • Customer must have identified the out-of-the-box integration to be configured from the list located here
  • Customer must supply credentials with the required permissions for both the source and the target services (as required)
  • Customer is responsible for having all the knowledge about how to configure all the non-BMC products
