Quick Configure: Automated Incidents

This Service configures the BMC Helix Operations Management (BHOM) integration to BMC Helix ITSM. It also configures event policies to automatically create incident tickets.

What you get:

BMC will perform the following in one environment:

  • Conduct a workshop for gathering requirements
  • Prepare Solution Design Document
  • Configure BHOM to create incidents from events
  • Update the out of the box event policy to create incidents
  • Create up to three additional policies for incident generation
  • Prepare Construction Document
  • Prepare Test Strategy and System Test Plan
  • Assist Customer with functional testing

Customer will be responsible for:

  • Providing BMC Helix ITSM administrator for validation
  • Conducting functional testing

Deliverables: Using BMC’s standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:

  • Solution Design Document
  • Construction Document
  • Test Strategy and System Test Plan

Completion Criteria: BMC will have completed the Service when the in-scope Service have been completed and the Deliverables have been reviewed in accordance with the Terms of Use and delivered to the customer Project Manager. From delivery start date, the service must be consumed and completed within 30 days. Consultant days must be booked in no less than 8-hour increments/full days.

Pre-requisites:

  • BHOM and BMC Helix ITSM must already be onboarded and configured for user access
  • Firewall ports may be required between BHOM and BMC Helix ITSM
  • Customer to provide a privileged BMC Helix ITSM service account for the integration
