BMC Software Partners with Poly Miwin to Build China’s First Cloud Platform For Digital Service Management

BMC’s Remedy OnDemand cloud service officially enters the Chinese market, helping domestic businesses accelerate their digital transformation

BEIJING— October 27, 2016 BMC, the global leader in IT solutions for the digital enterprise, today announced a partnership whereby Poly Miwin, a leading Chinese provider of cloud-based mobile information security solutions, will become BMC’s exclusive strategic cloud computing partner in China. The two companies will jointly build the first public cloud platform for Digital Service Management (DSM) enabling Chinese businesses to leverage BMC’s Remedy OnDemand service to reduce operating costs, improve operational efficiency, and enhance their competitiveness.

Through this partnership, BMC China will license Poly Miwin to operate BMC's leading Remedy OnDemand cloud service in China, into which Poly Miwin will fully integrate its existing business Mobile Management cloud services. The joint solution will provide enterprises with a full suite of business cloud services, from mobile management to IT management, on a unified cloud platform offered as SaaS.

As demand for cloud services continues to grow, an increasing number of companies worldwide are turning to BMC's DSM solutions, with new orders for BMC’s flagship Remedy platform growing more than twenty percent from last year at this time. In China, BMC’s IT service management (ITSM) business has experienced rapid growth in a range of industries, particularly in the medical, financial, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing, and government sectors. BMC’s Remedy OnDemand is an ideal complement to the market-leading Remedy IT Service Management Suite, providing all the benefits of the Remedy solution in a cloud-based platform with anytime, anywhere access to a self-service desk, change and release management, asset and service level management tools, and more.
