Connect BMC Helix ITSM with xMatters

This integration enables administrators to manage xMatters events in BMC Helix ITSM. When an incident is created in BMC Helix ITSM, it triggers an event in xMatters. Status and worknotes are synchronized between the two systems. Requires a BMC Helix iPaaS subscription and admin access to both BMC Helix ITSM and xMatters.

Key Features

This integration template supports following use cases:

  • Create an xMatters event from a BMC Helix ITSM incident. The xMatters event is viewable within BMC Helix ITSM.
  • Changes to the  xMatters status and worknotes are automatically updated and reflected in BMC Helix ITSM.
  • Changes to the status and worknotes in the BMC Helix ITSM incident are updated in the xMatters event. E.g. if the incident is closed, the xMatters event will be terminated.
