Control-M Workload Archiving Deployment Service

What you get:

BMC will perform the following in one environment:

• Provide an overview of Control-M Workload Archiving
• Install the Control-M Workload Archiving server standalone solution
• Configure secure communication between Control-M Enterprise Manager and Control-M Workload Archiving
• Validate the Control-M Workload Archiving server and datastore
• Review and set data hygiene policies
• Validate data collection per the defined data retention rules
• Review how to create data hygiene procedures for backup and recovery
• Configure backup and recovery procedures for BMC installed PostgreSQL database
• Conduct hand-off session with Customer

Customer will be responsible for:

• Configuring backup and recovery procedures for third party datastores (if applicable)
• Providing the necessary technical resources for the installation and configuration, such as infrastructure and network administrators on the agreed start date

Deliverables: Using BMC’s standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:

• Construction Document

Completion Criteria: BMC will have completed these Consulting Services when the in-scope Consulting Services have been completed, and the Deliverables have been delivered to the Customer Project Manager.

Pre-requisites:

Customer must:

• Have an existing installed and configured Control-M for Distributed Systems
• Provide a host machine for the Control-M Workload Archiving server
• Provide a pre-configured database if a third party datastore is selected
• View the Control-M Workload Archiving overview video
