What you get:
BMC will perform the following:
- Conduct a series of workshops to:
- Provide an overview of BMC Helix Discovery application modeling
- Review BMC best practices relating to application modeling
- Advise on an application modeling strategy that follows the Customer’s architecture principles while also identifying the correct approach to creating blueprints
- Review application modeling strategy with Customer
- Assess the customer's environment to determine the scope of applications that need to be modeled
- Identify the BMC Success Catalog Service Offerings to support the customers' needs
- Prepare an Application Model Strategy document, which will include:
- Best practices for application modeling related to the customer's environment
- A strategy around the approach to model the customers applications in scope
- Documentation of the recommended Service Offerings to leverage from BMC’s Success Catalog Service Offerings
Customer will be responsible for:
- Providing access to relevant domain experts to share documentation on application context, use cases, architecture principles, existing processes, and organization or governance practices
- Providing the necessary technical resources to attend workshops
- Provide BMC consultants access to Customer’s BMC Helix Discovery environment

Deliverables: Using BMC’s standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:
- Application Model Strategy document
Completion Criteria: BMC will have completed the Service when the in-scope Service have been completed and the Deliverables have been reviewed in accordance with the Terms of Use and delivered to the customer Project Manager. From delivery start date, the service must be consumed and completed within 30 days. Consultant days must be booked in no less than 8-hour increments/full days.
Pre-requisites:
- Preparatory call between Customer and BMC to mutually agree on a project schedule including up to 3 workshops
- Customer resources must have a basic understanding of BMC Discovery application modeling
- A list of any known use cases that Customer would like to review with BMC
- Customer must have their BMC Helix Discovery environment provisioned
