BMC Helix Edge 24.x: Fundamentals Managing Devices (WBT)

BMC Helix Edge consolidates and funnels operational data, merging IT and OT data to monitor critical systems and predict failures. It addresses performance, downtime, customer service, and asset management challenges across BMC products. Operating at the edge, it automates issue resolution by collecting, processing, and analyzing data at the edge. Using machine learning, it detects anomalies, forecasts maintenance, and enhances operational efficiency.

This course introduces learners to the complete lifecycle of IoT device management in BMC Helix Edge. Learners will explore steps to set up device profiles, register devices, and assign profiles to ensure seamless communication and functionality between devices and the platform. Using a robotic arm as a practical example, the course includes recorded demonstrations that illustrate the device management process in BMC Helix Edge. Additionally, the course guides students through the high-level steps involved in installing BMC Helix Edge.
