Across industries, I’m hearing a remarkably consistent message: organizations are accelerating innovation, investing heavily in AI, and navigating an increasingly interconnected digital landscape. Ambition is clear. So is the pressure.
The challenge isn’t a lack of tools or talent. It’s that the complexity of modern data, applications, and AI pipelines is growing faster than the operational frameworks needed to run them reliably. Teams struggle with fragmented processes, unclear end‑to‑end visibility, and bottlenecks that make it hard to scale safely and predictably when the business needs it most.
That’s why our focus for Control-M remains clear: provide the orchestration foundation that helps organizations turn bold plans into dependable execution. By unifying workflows, strengthening governance, and enabling intelligent operations, Control‑M empowers enterprises to orchestrate business flows with measurable, reliable results.
The Next Era of Orchestration: Intelligent, Event-Aware, and Ready for AI at Scale
Across industries, we’re watching the rise of the agentic enterprise, where AI agents, data workflows, business services, and human operators all work in dynamic coordination. To make this possible, organizations need more than automated tasks. They need orchestration that can listen, respond, adapt, and govern.
They need:
- AI capabilities that accelerate progress without sacrificing control
- Event-driven responsiveness that aligns technology to real-time business signals
- Governance that keeps pace with innovation
- Integration simplicity across a rapidly evolving ecosystem
These themes continue to guide our investments. And they shape the Control-M release we’re announcing today.
The next leap forward for Control-M
A release purpose-built for teams modernizing at scale and preparing for the next wave of operational AI.
This quarter, we’re extending AI deeper into the orchestration layer, strengthening enterprise governance, and expanding hybrid connectivity. The updates help teams automate faster, operate with more intelligence, and scale securely across complex environments. The release centers on three pillars that will continue to guide our roadmap this year.
1. AI‑Powered Orchestration: Advancing Intelligence in the Product and Across Your Ecosystem
AI is transforming how work gets designed and how it gets executed. This release brings innovation on both fronts strengthening the intelligence built into Control‑M itself and expanding how customers orchestrate their own AI agents and AI‑driven workloads.
AI-powered orchestration, wherever you run Control-M. We have expanded the AI experience with intelligent workflow creation and in-context answers with Jett, the Control-M AI advisor, whether you deploy Control-M as SaaS or Self-hosted.
New Agentic AI Capabilities. We continue to expand our agentic AI investments with capabilities that streamline how teams build, run, and evolve workflows. These updates reduce manual effort, accelerate design, and proactively surface risks all within governed, enterprise‑grade boundaries.
AI Orchestration Integrations. New integrations make it easier to orchestrate AI agents and AI‑powered tasks with the same reliability, visibility, and governance customers expect from every Control‑M workflow.
Together, these innovations ensure AI works both for you and with you enhancing productivity inside Control‑M while enabling the orchestration of the AI systems driving your business. The result is faster automation, smarter operations, and better decisions across every environment.
2. Security, Insights, and Governance: Scaling Automation Without Compromise
Governance should never slow innovation, and with this release, it doesn’t. The second pillar of this release is all about trust. As automation scales across teams and environments, governance has become just as important as speed.
SaaS Certifications Expansion. Control-M SaaS continues to expand its security and compliance certifications. Today it includes SOC 2 Type 1 and TX-RAMP, with additional certifications currently in the final stages of approval. This ongoing investment ensures Control-M SaaS meets the evolving requirements of regulated and security-first organizations adopting SaaS.
Expanded Vault Integrations. By adding HashiCorp Vault to the list of already-supported solutions such as CyberArk, we’re expanding how teams manage secrets externally while strengthening least-privilege execution across complex, high-scale environments.
Together, these enhancements strengthen the control layer of automation, helping organizations manage risk, simplify compliance, and scale innovation responsibly.
3. Connectivity and Modernization to Power Scalable Hybrid Operations
Modern digital services rely on agile connectivity and secure data movement. This release continues to simplify how teams integrate, connect, and move data across their hybrid ecosystems.
Managed File Transfer Enhancements. Enhanced performance, reliability, and governance are now available across both Control-M Self-Hosted and SaaS environments. For Control-M SaaS customers, MFT/E also introduces new High Availability and Disaster Recovery support strengthening how organizations move and protect critical data.
Agentless for Windows. Environments with extensive Windows workloads can now scale automation faster with expanded agentless execution, reducing deployment time and operational overhead.
New Integrations. We’re adding more out-of-the-box integrations to reduce scripting, accelerate onboarding, and improve standardization across applications and data platforms.
With these updates, organizations can simplify hybrid operations, reduce complexity, and connect the systems that power their businesses with greater speed and reliability, and operational resilience.
Why This Release Matters Now
This release builds on the product momentum we’ve already created in 2026 through advancements in AI workflow creation, event-driven automation, and expanded partnerships in the data space. Each of these steps strengthens the orchestration foundation our customers rely on and enables customers to transform into intelligent, scalable operations faster than ever before.
Generative AI is reshaping how work is designed, and event-driven systems are redefining how business services operate. At the same time, teams are taking on more responsibility for automation while expectations for governance continue to rise.
In this environment, the gap between organizations that can orchestrate with intelligence and those that cannot is widening. Our commitment is to help every Control-M customer bridge that gap with confidence. With this release, we’re advancing the orchestration foundation enterprises need to compete, differentiate, and thrive in an AI‑powered world.
What’s Next
We will continue investing with urgency and purpose helping customers orchestrate without disruption, adopt emerging technologies faster, and build an intelligent operational backbone capable of powering the next decade of enterprise innovation.
Thank you for the insight, partnership, and trust that guide our direction. This release reflects your priorities and our commitment to deliver. For a detailed view into how Control–M can support your operations both today and for what’s next, be sure to check out our self-guided demo library.
