What you get:
BMC will perform the following:
- Conduct workshops to assess the storage environment in collaboration with Customer.
- Review the SAN Infrastructure and monitoring tools with an emphasis on Customer highlighted pain points:
- Failure rates, usage, and file balance
- Virtualization layers
- Encryption implementation (Hardware / Software with keys)
- Assess Virtual Tape Library processes
- Review data retention and audit processes
- Review IODF* to validate no single points of failure
- Analyse DASD and Tape performance
- Review storage tools and processes
- Provide an overview of BMC AMI Storage, and BMC AMI Cloud
- Prepare and deliver the Assessment Report.
The Customer will be responsible for:
- Providing access to Customer’s subject matter experts
- Arranging all meetings with stakeholders
- Providing access to necessary analysis data
Deliverables: Using BMC’s standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:
- Assessment Reportt
Completion Criteria: BMC will have completed the Services when the in-scope Services have been completed and the Deliverables have been reviewed in accordance with the Terms of Use and delivered to the Customer Project Manager. From delivery start date, the service must be consumed and complete within 90 calendar days.
