Control-M detects configured HTTP response codes and reruns the job step using defined attempt and interval settings. The SAP BTP Scheduler connection profile defaults to three rerun attempts for HTTP 503 responses, helping transient endpoint failures recover automatically.

Control-M polls the SAP BTP Scheduler job status at a configurable frequency and monitors its status, results, and output. Failure tolerance controls how many unsuccessful status checks occur before the Control-M job ends Not OK.
