This Service leverages BMC Helix AIOps and BMC HelixGPT’s agentic AI features —like Situation Analyzer, Best Action Recommender, Change Risk Advisor, and more - all to accelerate resolution, automate root cause insights, and reduce operational risk.

What you get:

BMC Helix will perform the following along with the Customer selected AI Agent(s) for deployment:

Base Service:

  • Provide workshops on features of HelixGPT with Helix AIOps
  • Review the Customer selected AI agents for service deployment 
    • (See below table for additional AI agent information and credits required)
  • Assist with requirements for BMC HelixGPT
  • Advise on licensing/pricing queries around generative AI provider
  • Assist with configuring & validating data source and subsequent ingestion in BMC HelixGPT
  • Set up the customer supplied generative AI provider
  •  Review service models.
  • Review custom event, metrics and topology integrations
  •  Review roles and permissions required in BMC Helix AIOps
  • Prepare Construction Document


Redemption instructions:

  • Customer will select the chosen delivery option for the Base Service.
  • Customer will then select any combination of the AI Agent(s) below and their delivery option(s) to be paired with the Base Service.

Pre-requisites:

  • Customer has implemented BMC Helix AIOps and is on version 25.3 or above. 
  • Customer is on the latest supported version of ITSM 
  • Customer has implemented BMC Helix Discovery (on same version as Helix AIOps) 
    • SaaS environment only  
  • Business Service/Application Models* have been created. 
  • Customer has implemented event/topology integrations using Intelligent Integrations* 
  • Appropriate licenses/tokens have been acquired for the generative AI provider in order to use Helix GPT on Helix AIOps. 
  • Customer has necessary account login information and access for one of the following generative AI providers: 
    • Google Cloud Platform Vertex AI: 
      • Account created and access to the project to deploy the model. 
    • Azure OpenAI: 
      • Procurement of an Azure ML subscription. 
      • User to have Contributor role to Azure ML
      • Azure cli to be installed on the client machine.
      • Docker should be installed where Azure Command Line Interface is installed.
      • Required GPUs can be spawned in the region where the deployment is being done.
      • Access to the container image (either through containers.bmc.com to pull the image directly from the registry or extract and load to docker using the provided tar file).

Deliverables: Using BMC Helix standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:

  • Construction Document

Completion Criteria: BMC Helix will have completed the Service when the in-scope Service have been completed and the Deliverables have been reviewed in accordance with the Terms of Use and delivered to the customer Project Manager.

Consultant days must be booked in no less than 8-hour increments/full days.

Definitions:

Base Service: The foundational services required while enabling/deploying AI agents in a Customer’s environment. Such as, providing workshops, reviews, assistance with configurations and validation of specified data.   

Standard Delivery: A mix of BMC Helix consultants and project managers sourced from various BMC locations.  

Country-Specific Staffing: Upon Customer’s request and BMC Helix resource availability, BMC Helix will deviate from BMC Helix Standard Delivery model. BMC Helix will work with Customer to understand and address their country-specific staffing requirements. The staffing choice from which country a BMC Helix resource comes will be mutually agreed to by BMC Helix and the Customer. 

Situations: In BMC Helix Situation Analyzer, a situation is a collection of correlated events, alerts, and other data points that are grouped together because they are related to the same underlying IT issue. 

Risks: In BMC Helix Vulnerability Resolver, risks are the potential negative outcomes that can arise from unaddressed security vulnerabilities. 

Application Models: BMC Helix Application Models are a core component within the BMC Helix Discovery suite. They provide a comprehensive and structured representation of your IT environment, specifically focusing on applications and their dependencies. 

Business Service: represents a function or capability that directly supports a business process or objective. 

Intelligent Integrations: BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations is a component within the BMC Helix platform that facilitates seamless data exchange and communication between different IT tools and systems. 

Model Credentials: are needed to establish connection between the Customer favored GenAI platform and HelixGPT. 

Tenant/Stack: is the SaaS AIOps platform that is deployed for the Customer. This is where users will be analyzing situations.
