BMC AMI iStrobe 24: Subsystems Performance Analysis Using iStrobe (WBT)

BMC AMI iStrobe is an application performance analysis product designed to interface with the BMC AMI Strobe MVS Application Performance Measurement System and to run on the CES web application server. It provides intuitive navigation, graphical visualizations, and detailed drill-down capabilities to help identify performance issues and optimize resource usage across mainframe environments. In this web-based training, learners will explore performance analysis techniques for major mainframe subsystems, including Db2, CICS, IMS, and MQ. The course demonstrates how to examine subsystem-specific reports, identify high CPU-consuming transactions and programs, interpret performance metrics, and use iStrobe analysis features to investigate processing delays and resource usage. Through practical analysis scenarios, learners will develop the skills needed to diagnose performance problems and optimize application and subsystem performance in a z/OS environment.

Note: In addition to English, the textual content and audio of this course are available in French, Chinese (Simplified), German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish (Mexico).

Note: Web-Based Training (WBT) is available exclusively through our subscription offering and is not available for standalone purchase.
