BMC AMI DevX Code Pipeline 25: Fundamentals Using Workbench for VS Code (WBT)
BMC AMI DevX Code Pipeline is a modern CI/CD and source code management solution for mainframe applications. The integration of BMC AMI DevX Workbench Code Pipeline with Visual Studio Code allows mainframe developers to manage and interact with their Code Pipeline environment directly from within the VS Code interface. The integration aims to streamline the mainframe development workflow by providing a modern, familiar IDE experience for Code Pipeline users.
This web-based course helps learners understand the integration and connection of BMC AMI DevX Workbench Code Pipeline with Visual Studio Code and define a runtime configuration for Code Pipeline. Learners will also understand the various actions performed in assignments and tasks, as well as the options available in the show as a table feature. Additionally, adding and editing a release to a Code Pipeline extension and understanding the lifecycle flowchart through both the repository view and the assignment view.
