At BMC, we’re committed to your ongoing success. Share it with your team, and leave your opinion.
At the end of every BMC education training session, our instructors encourage our new students to
submit ideas and suggestions to improve and enhance our products in BMC Communities. The Ideas
community gives you as a consumer of BMC applications the opportunity to submit an idea which
will be reviewed and assessed by product development teams. Perhaps there is new functionality you
need in our ITSM application that would benefit your organisation and others or an existing function
in BMC Control M could be enhanced to add more value. At BMC, we are constantly seeking to improve
our products and your feedback and suggestions is extremely valuable and welcome.
The community organizes the ideas by BMC product and category and has search functionality to allow
you to find and review existing ideas. You have the option to vote for an existing idea to support it,
comment and also bookmark it so you can follow its progress.
If you would like to take part in the Ideas community, please go to https://community.bmc.com/s/all-ideas
and register if you haven’t already done so.
We look forward to hearing your ideas.
In this group, you'll find out how to join our public beta programs to test pre-released versions of our products. Following are a few FAQs:
Why join our beta programs?
You’ll get a sneak peek of what’s in development, and your feedback will help us improve our products. You’ll engage directly with product managers, developers, and product experts via Community and/or virtual meetings and surveys.
Who qualifies to join the beta programs?
Customers who own the product being tested, and partners who service our products. (There might be other qualifications, depending on the product, so you might be asked to complete a prequalification survey). For details, please see: How to register to join our BMC Customer Programs.
Do I have to sign an agreement?
Yes. When you request to join a specific beta program, you’ll need to sign our Customer Programs agreement.
How much time does it take to participate?
It depends on the particular beta program. Some programs request feedback within a specific timeframe – a few weeks to a few months via Community feedback posts. Some request your participation in weekly virtual meetings for a month or so. Some also request completion of a wrap-up survey.
When will my product start a beta program?
Public beta programs will be posted here in this group when they’re available to join.
