Today, we honor Gina Fevrier, an exceptional Senior Program Manager overseeing Beta Programs at BMC. Gina's story inspires anyone embarking on a tech career. Dive into the captivating story of Gina Fevrier, whose professional journey takes a thrilling turn from classrooms to the cutting edge of tech at BMC Software!
An Unexpected Calling
For many years, Gina nurtured young minds as a French teacher. Fate, however, had a different plan. Gina's love for learning led her to teach computer classes, eventually landing her at a software company crafting technical documents. There, she stumbled upon a perfect opportunity – a technical writing role requiring foreign language and video creation skills – a perfect fit for her diverse skillset! This role, specifically for the Track-It product, marked the beginning of her incredible journey at BMC (acquired by the previous company five years later).
A Career Steeped in Growth
Gina's 17 years at BMC have been a testament to her unwavering commitment to growth and exploration. She has put on various hats, from localization project manager to L10N program manager, constantly seeking new challenges to learn and contribute.
Beyond Technical Expertise
Gina's impact extends far beyond technical mastery. Despite the geographical distance, she has been a pillar of the BMC community, actively participating in employee resource groups and mentoring programs. Her infectious passion for learning and fostering connections with diverse individuals has enriched the company culture in ways that cannot be quantified.
A Well-Deserved Farewell
As Gina embarks on a well-deserved retirement, we at BMC express our deepest gratitude for her years of service and dedication. Her contributions have not only impacted the company's success but have also touched the lives of countless colleagues globally. While her absence will be felt, we eagerly anticipate her next chapter.
To Gina, your contribution to BMC ecosystem is incredible. We from the BMC Community offer our heartfelt thanks and best wishes for a fulfilling retirement filled with endless possibilities. May this next chapter be as enriching as the remarkable career that came before it. Here's to Gina Fevrier – a true trailblazer, mentor, and friend!

BMC AMI Storage IAM is a high-performance indexed access method for z/OS for batch, TSO, and online processing. IAM/RLS and IAM/PLEX support record level sharing in a single LPAR and across multiple LPARs within a z/OS Sysplex. To ensure storage management is performed to best practice standards, BMC provides technical training based on the current skill levels.
The BMC AMI Storage IAM/PLEX 11.x: Fundamentals Skills Assessment is to be taken by customers and partners to check their skills for key product areas BEFORE registering for any BMC AMI Storage IAM/PLEX 11.x training. Based on the result analysis, BMC can provide a recommendation on which training courses would fill potential skill gaps.
The skills assessment is not an exam and is not meant to test individuals but to provide students and teams an overview of existing and missing skills to select the appropriate training. Assessment takers shouldn´t prepare and retake the assessment to avoid receiving incorrect recommendations.
