BMC AMI Storage IAM is a high-performance indexed access method for z/OS for batch, TSO, and online processing. IAM/RLS and IAM/PLEX support record level sharing in a single LPAR and across multiple LPARs within a z/OS Sysplex. To ensure storage management is performed to best practice standards, BMC provides technical training based on the current skill levels.
The BMC AMI Storage IAM/PLEX 11.x: Fundamentals Skills Assessment is to be taken by customers and partners to check their skills for key product areas BEFORE registering for any BMC AMI Storage IAM/PLEX 11.x training. Based on the result analysis, BMC can provide a recommendation on which training courses would fill potential skill gaps.
The skills assessment is not an exam and is not meant to test individuals but to provide students and teams an overview of existing and missing skills to select the appropriate training. Assessment takers shouldn´t prepare and retake the assessment to avoid receiving incorrect recommendations.
