BMC Compuware ISPW Migration Service: Medium Base System

What you get:
BMC will perform the following activities in two environments:
- Conduct a project kick-off meeting which will include:
- Scope discussion
- Outline of high-level plan
- Explanation of the migration process
- Provide a project schedule covering each step of the migration project lifecycle
- Capture of historical changes during the process
- Access Customer’s current SCM solution
- Prepare architecture and configuration
- Prepare Solution Design Document and deliver to Customer
- Prepare Project Schedule and deliver to Customer
- Prepare Test Strategy and Plan
- Assist Customer for up to 20 consecutive business days with user functional testing
- Prepare the Construction Document
- Prepare the Deployment Plan
- Implement and configure BMC Compuware ISPW in the test instance
- Migrate up to 20 pilot applications within a BMC Compuware ISPW test instance
- Migrate current applications, metadata, and historical changes to ISPW in the Production instance to include:
- Up to 125,000 components
- Up to 5 translation application language processes
- Perform up to 10 consecutive business days of migration post-deployment assistance
Customer will be responsible for:
- Providing access and privileges for BMC staff to include:
- Current SCM solution
- BMC Compuware ISPW Administration access
- Allocating resources to set up network and system programmer elements required
- Raising environment change requests
- Agree timescales and change windows
- Perform user functional testing using the Test Strategy and Plan
- Maintaining and ensuring back-ups and recovery files
- Providing remote access to the mainframe via one of the following:
- Virtual Private Network (VPN)
- Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI)
- Customer provided laptop
- Having a LPAR running supported versions of z/OS® on z/OS® compatible hardware
- Providing a PC capable of using FTP to transfer the installation file, IND$FILE or other capability, with standard web browser, and JavaScript enabled
- Providing a TCP/IP port, AT-TLS for a secured HTTPS connection to web browser
- Providing secured ZFS directory space for the disk database
- Providing resources who have the ability to APF-authorize load library
Deliverables: Using BMC’s standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:
- Project Schedule
- Project Status Report
- Solution Design Document
- Test Strategy and Plan
- Construction Document
- Deployment Plan
Project Milestones: The following milestones are established between the Customer and BMC. Once BMC has reached a milestone, the BMC project manager will issue a milestone completion letter to Customer.
- Milestone 1: Upon delivery of the Solution Design Document
- Milestone 2: Upon completion of the product validation in the test environment
- Milestone 3: Upon delivery of the project completion letter
Completion Criteria: BMC will have completed these Consulting Services when the in-scope Consulting Services have been completed and the Deliverables have been delivered to the Customer Project Manager.
Pre-requisites:
- Customer will install the latest GA version of BMC Compuware ISPW on their system
