De-silo DevOps, are you ready?

As organizations work to maintain a competitive advantage in the digital age, the value of DevOps cannot be understated and continues to increase as digital transformation and cloud adoption initiatives have become mainstream.

But organizations still struggling to accelerate their DevOps toolchain, the right ITSM platform is integral to the agility of bringing disparate DevOps groups together for increased collaboration, thus reducing parallel areas of work, or silos. Moving from a waterfall approach to an agile approach can be a challenging journey. Along that journey, baselining, collecting, and analyzing valid metrics are key to identifying bottlenecks in the value stream so adjustments can be made quickly and continuously. By breaking down dev silos and connecting your DevOps toolchain to your ITSM foundation, provides bidirectional visibility, while increasing time spent on innovation, reduced escaped defects, and improve MTTR.

BMC provides the industry leading enterprise service and operations management solution organizations need to intelligently and seamlessly meld the Operation and Dev silos, with automation and enables a single-view of all changes and communicates them to the DBA, accelerating app deployment and self-service enablement while mitigating the risk of failure in deployment.

Without the right intelligent automation foundation, organizations are left struggling to accelerating their development workflows. Organizations need to enable their development teams to orchestrate workflows and improve application quality, while allowing development teams to work in a familiar environment using JSON, REST APIs, and NODE.js, this mitigates rework by embedding operational instrumentation right into the workflow.

BMC’s Jobs-as-code approach makes workflows versionable, testable and maintainable – helping developers, engineers and SRE’s collaboratively define, schedule, manage and monitor application workflows in production, so developers and engineers can work collaboratively.

Found out why BMC should be your chosen enterprise service and operations management solution to help your organization achieve their modern digital enterprise goals.
