Technical bulletins

Documentation that is related to a PUT is available as technical bulletins, which are posted on the BMC Software Customer Support Web page.

A technical bulletin documents all known significant problems that are related to a PUT for a specific product. When you sign up for Proactive Alerts, BMC Software automatically notifies you by e-mail when a new or updated technical bulletin is posted to the Web site.

You can sign up for Proactive Alerts on the BMC Software Customer Support Web page.

You can also find the descriptions of individual PTFs from eFix by reading the information on the Using eFix to find PTFs page.

PUT service is labeled as follows:

PUTyynnx

yy = last two digits of calendar year
nn = 01 for service delivered January through June
02 for service delivered July through December
A = delivered February and August (Contains three months of PUT maintenance.)
B = delivered May and November
(Cumulative, contains six months of PUT maintenance. The B media contains the maintenance that was released on the A media.)
