Q: My shipment has a B-series installation tape and product tapes. Which tape do I use to start downloading files? A: The B-series tape contains the Installation System. The system can be used to install a single tape set, to install multiple tape sets, or to access files on the BMC Software ESD site. Q: My terminal is set for my own country. Will I get errors when performing an install? A: If you are using a terminal type that is set to use the alphabet for your country, or if you use a translation table, you will get error messages, especially when trying to go past the Select Products panel BMIPC1A during installation. About ESD downloadsQ: What is the FTP address of the ESD site? A: The FTP address for the ESD site is ftp://userID:password@filedownload.bmc.com/bmc/esd/ozi. Q: Where can I get a sample script for downloading from the ESD site? A: A sample JCL is located here.
