BMC Recovery Management for DB2

Business Challenge

Most database recoveries are not from disasters or hardware failures; 80% are application recoveries from user or application errors. Downtime is expensive, averaging $7,800 per minute for e-commerce applications and often much more during peak hours for financial or manufacturing systems. Organizations need to be prepared to respond to unexpected failures, while keeping the database online.
