BMC Software Announces Platinum Sponsorship of Dreamforce 2011The cloud computing event of the year will showcase how businesses can tap into the power of social, mobile and open technologies to become social enterprises
HOUSTON, Aug. 12, 2011 – BMC Software (NASDAQ: BMC) today announced it will be a platinum-level sponsor of salesforce.com’s Dreamforce 2011 conference, the world’s largest cloud computing event. The conference will be held Aug. 30-Sept. 2, 2011, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. BMC will be showing its solutions in booth No. 521 in the Dreamforce Expo.
During last year’s Dreamforce, BMC and salesforce.com announced Remedyforce, an affordable cloud-based IT help desk built on the Force.com platform that provides out-of-the-box ITIL® incident management, self-service, inventory management, change management and problem management processes. With Remedyforce on mobile devices and PCs, IT support leaders can quickly automate service desk processes to cut wait times, track inventory and assets and improve first-call resolution.
