BMC Performance Manager Receives Early Certification for Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V

HOUSTON, September 8, 2008 – BMC Software (NYSE: BMC) announced that BMC Performance Manager for Servers is among the very first IT systems management products to receive the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V certification.

Microsoft’s certification closely follows BMC’s major announcement on September 2, 2008 of nine new, fully integrated solutions designed to help customers eliminate the escalating risks and operational expenses associated with inadequate management of virtualization.  A virtualization management pioneer, BMC has been working with leading virtualization vendors for more than three years to help customers extract the most value from their virtualized IT infrastructure.
