BMC Software Releases Support For IMS V11

 

HOUSTON – December 10, 2009 – BMC Software today announced complete solutions support for IBM® IMS V11, the leading high-performance application and data server for the IBM System z® mainframe.

 

 The IMS V11 application provides performance and usability enhancements to the IMS platform, including improvements in the Fast Path and IMS Connect areas. BMC’s support of these new features and functions provides effective and robust solutions to meet customers’ needs in IMS transaction and database management systems – systems that support critical business services.
 
A leader in IMS database management, BMC has been providing IMS solutions for 27 years and has hundreds of IMS customers worldwide. BMC’s graphical user interface (GUI) makes it easier for IT to manage critical databases, which are the foundation for delivering any business service. The GUI provides customers the ability to manage complex, dispersed IMS systems and databases through an easy to use interface.
