BMC Software to Host Virtual Conference on Simplifying and Automating IT

Company to unveil additional details on Dynamic BSM

HOUSTON, October 26, 2009 – BMC Software (NASDAQ: BMC) will host a virtual conference on October 29, 2009 for IT executives and professionals to hear from industry leaders and meet with partners, customers and peers on a variety of subjects ranging from Cloud Computing to ITIL.

During the event, BMC will also release further details on its Dynamic Business Service Management strategy, announced earlier today.

The trade show floor opens at 8:45 a.m. EDT and features virtual exhibit booths from BMC partners including Aeroprise, Amazon, Cisco, Dell and NetApp. At 9:30 a.m., BMC chairman and chief executive officer Bob Beauchamp will open the conference with a keynote presentation on how BSM is transforming the future of IT management.
