• Responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, deployment and general maintenance of the BMC Performance Manager |
| Developers |
• Responsible for developing BMC PATROL Knowledge Modules (KMs) for use on PATROL Agents, and converting PATROL KMs into Performance Managers for the BMC Portal (via the use of the Portal SDK)
• Knowledge module development is accomplished using the BMC Performance Manager Classic Console
• Developers must be able to perform administration and configuration tasks, using the console; create custom KMs, using BMC PATROL scripting language (PSL); create custom events, using the PATROL Event Editor; create recovery actions, using PSL; and create custom Performance Monitors, using the Portal SDK |

• Oversees the usage and implementation of BMC Performance Manager
• May be a functional manager, line of business manager, or supervisor |
| Operators |
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations using the BMC Performance Manager Console
• Includes call center operations and individuals responsible for managing and escalating events
