Remedy Earns Leadership Position in META Group's Evaluation of Asset Portfolio Management Tools

Remedy IT Service Management Suite Once Again Enjoys Honor as Recognized Industry Leader


SUNNYVALE - Calif., (October 15, 2004 ) - BMC Software, Inc., [NYSE: BMC], today announced that the company’s Remedyâ IT Service Management Suite for the Enterprise has been ranked among the market leaders in META Group’s recently released METAspectrumSM report for Asset Portfolio Management Tools. This ranking reinforces the Remedy IT Service Management suite’s reputation as the market-leading IT Service Management solution and illustrates the benefits of Remedyâ Asset Management as an essential element of BMC Software’s larger corporate strategies to deliver Business Service Management (BSM) and Change and Configuration Management (CCM) solutions.
