BMC Software’s Security Products Land End-of-the-Year Awards

CONTROL-SA® Wins Information Security’s "Best Feature Set" Award and CONTROL-SA/PassPort Named One of the "Products You Love!" by MCP Magazine

HOUSTON - (January 28, 2004) - BMC Software, Inc., [NYSE: BMC], a leading provider of enterprise management, today announced that it has won awards for two of its management solutions: CONTROL-SA and CONTROL-SA/PassPort. Both products are a part of BMC Software’s security management set of solutions, which enable customers to automate and simplify management of all enterprise security systems from a central point of control. BMC Software’s CONTROL-SA Identity Management suite was recognized in the December issue of Information Security magazine as the "Best Feature Set."
