AIB Group Extends Commitment to BMC Software and Remedy^® Solutions

DUBLIN, Ireland - September 22nd 2003 - Dublin Ireland's leading banking and financial services organisation, Allied Irish Banks p.l.c. (AIB), has extended its long-term commitment to BMC Software and Remedy, a BMC Software company, for the provision of numerous Enterprise Management Solutions including MAINVIEWÒ for mainframe systems, PATROLÒ for distributed systems and IMS database solutions as well as Remedy Help Desk.

The deployment of BMC Software technology will enable the bank to view the health of all key business applications in real time and to be instantly alerted to any potential issues before they can lead to service outages.
