For some reason, I cannot get the tune out of my head. Written by Hal David and Burt Bacharach and sung beautifully by Dionne Warwick. Are you going to be at SHARE San Jose 2017 on March 5-10? We would enjoy talking with you while you are at the conference. I promise there will no singing or humming!
The world has changed significantly since 1969 when Ms. Warwick won a Grammy for Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Performance, Female and later became a spokesperson for the Psychic Friends Network. Digital business is pervasive and the mainframe is right in the center of the action. It is on the hot seat to deliver what customers are demanding – applications that are available all day, every day, with white-hot response times. The good news is that Mainframe IT has stepped up to this challenge by rolling out new and updated applications with improved availability and response times. However, these new applications are driving increased transaction loads that are unpredictable and volatile. Oh yeah, and all this needs to be done while lowering costs.
All of this presents challenges, but the SHARE agenda includes plenty of opportunities to learn how you can address these issues head-on. Visit BMC at booth #204 and see some amazing demos, talk with some smart and fun people, and get real answers.
We also hope to see you at these sessions:

Lunch and Learn session: Tuesday, March 7 from 12:30pm – 1:30pm – Room 211D
Session Title: Keynote Follow-on: What the BMC Mainframe Survey Tells Us About Digital Business
Speaker Name: Jonathan Adams, Vice President and General Manager, ZSolutions Optimization, BMC Software
Abstract: At an earlier Keynote session, Jonathan Adams provided an overview of the measurable impact that digital business is having on the mainframe. In this Lunch ‘n Learn hour, Mr. Adams will continue the conversation, and present more detail and insights from the recently released BMC 11th Annual Mainframe Research Report. Widely publicized, digital business is having measurable effects on the mainframe, and is creating growth in transaction and data volumes. Companies are relying on their mainframes to ensure strong and timely customer service, acquisition and retention. Come and enjoy lunch on BMC, and learn about the survey findings, just released in November. Ask questions about the research, trends, and directions, as provided by over 1200 executive and technical respondents.
