Chief information officer. Master of IT. Driver of business innovation. Sovereign of service delivery. Conqueror of complexity. Titan of transformation.
Today’s CIOs take on many names and many roles, and some of the best get recognized every year as CIO 100 award winners, which recognizes organizations and leaders that have distinguished themselves by creating business value through the innovative use of IT. As the underwriting partner for the 2014 CIO 100 Symposium & Awards event, produced by CIO Magazine, BMC was excited to be part of the festivities last night as the industry’s best were honored at a black-tie awards ceremony.
“We’re thrilled that 55 BMC customers were named to this year’s CIO 100 list,” said Paul Appleby, BMC’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. “For 27 years, the CIO 100 awards have recognized the pioneers and change agents who represent the best of IT. Congratulations to all the winners, who continue to set the example for delivering innovation, service and value to their companies.”
In addition to the CIO 100 honorees, BMC congratulates three of our customers — AT&T CIO Thaddeus Arroyo, Kroger SVP and CIO Chris Hjelm and Progressive Insurance CIO Raymond Voelker — on being named to the CIO Hall of Fame.
