BMC India Wins Prestigious R&D Award

BMC India Wins Zinnov Award

Tarun Sharma Accepts 2014 Center Transformation Award

Winning awards is fun – but winning them from peers for something that’s core to your business is all the more gratifying. That’s why we’re excited to share that BMC India won the 2014 Center Transformation Award, presented this month at the Zinnov Confluence event attended by 2,000 top R&D leaders in Bangalore, India.

This industry-wide award recognizes in-house R&D centers that have rapidly evolved from cost center to value center to being customer centric.  Presented by industry analyst and advisory firm Zinnov, the winner is selected by an elite panel of executives from peer software companies.

BMC’s India leader Tarun Sharma was on hand to accept the award on behalf of BMC, and had this to say afterward: “It fills us with immense pleasure and pride to win such a coveted industry award. BMC India has proved beyond doubt that it is a strategic differentiator for BMC. Our vibrant talent pool and strong leadership deserve all the credit for leading our transformation.”

Officially started in 2001, BMC Software India Pvt. Ltd. has grown to be the largest R&D center for BMC outside of the U.S. – and the team has contributed key innovations as part of our vision to transform IT. Congratulations to the entire BMC India team for this tremendous industry recognition!
