Brian Tong is a computer availability manager at the State of Oregon. Brian moved to Oregon from the San Francisco Bay area in 2013. He has lived in Germany, Korea, and on the East Coast of the US. He has worked for several large global corporations and appreciates the change in perspective that comes with working in the public sector. Brian is a novice drummer, has competed at the national level in Karate, winning gold in Kata and Kumite in 2004, and is currently a volunteer firefighter with the Silverton Fire District. He and his wife are also working to establish a new (to Oregon) specialty berry harvest and propagation operation as a hobby and future family business.
