HOUSTON, June 19, 2007 – BMC Software today announced that it has completed the acquisition of ProactiveNet, Inc. the most advanced “early warning system” for IT on the market.
Both current and new customers can immediately reap the benefits of ProactiveNet’s real-time and proactive analytics. The combination of BMC’s BSM for IT Operations and ProactiveNet’s unique capabilities represents the most advanced solution available for customers looking to align IT services to business priorities.
With its intelligent threshold technology, the ProactiveNet solution continues to get “smarter” by adapting to changing performance demands. Analyzing performance on the fly, ProactiveNet provides early warning of potential or pending problems and eliminates false-positive alerts.
