HOUSTON, May 23, 2006 – BMC Software’s channel and partner organization has received multiple honors from CMP Media’s VARBusiness Magazine.

The BMC partner and channel program has earned the coveted Five-Star rating from VARBusiness honoring the Company’s steadfast commitment to channel programs and partnerships.  In addition, Lori Cook, Worldwide Vice President of Professional Services, Channels and Alliances for BMC, was named to VARBusiness magazine’s annual listing of the “Top 100 Channel Executives.”

The VARBusiness “Top 100 Channel Executives” list is based on a survey of channel executives with respect to years of service, size of their channel programs and their partner priorities for the coming year. Of nearly 260 vendor programs reviewed this year for VARBusiness’ 12th annual Partner Programs Guide, 73 programs from 70 different vendors received the five-star distinction.
