BMC Performance Manager also represents an exciting turning point for the BMC brand. After 11 years as a part of BMC, the PATROL name is being phased out. This change comes from discussions with customers, who asked us first and foremost to reduce complexity. We listened—and decided to tackle that request in two ways: through continued innovation for ease of use and flexibility, and by simplifying the way we talk about, and name, our products.
