Senior Vice President and General Manager, Mainframe Service Management Bill Miller is the senior vice president and general manager of the BMC Software Mainframe Service Management (MSM) business unit. This business continues to provide the revenue stream and the technology the company needs to support the development of innovative new offerings, and provide solutions in the area of Business Service Management (BSM), while continuing to keep pace with the latest systems, data and operations technologies. Miller joined BMC Software in July 15, 2002, from BindView Development, where he had served as senior vice president and chief operating officer. Subsequent to joining BindView, Miller spent 21 years at IBM, where he held a variety of positions including in sales, marketing and general management. Miller received a Bachelor of Science – Engineering degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Dallas.
