Senior Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Development Dev Ittycheria is the senior vice president, strategy and corporate development of BMC Software. In this position, Ittycheria is responsible for BMC’s corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, corporate marketing and strategic alliances. Ittycheria joined BMC Software in April 2008 with the acquisition of BladeLogic, where he held the post of President and CEO and served on their Board of Directors. Prior to founding BladeLogic, Dev Ittycheria held several management positions in technology companies, including Senior Vice President and General Manager of the ASP division of Breakaway Solutions, Co-founder, President and CEO of Applica, one of the first venture-backed ASPs, which was acquired by Breakaway, and various senior positions in the data communications businesses of AT&T and Teleport Communications Group.
